Only seven Northeast Georgia-area baseball teams will be in action on Tuesday in a very limited schedule.
However, North Hall (3-0) will play host to perennial powerhouse Pace Academy (0-4) at Lynn Cottrell Field. The Trojans have allowed just one run so far on the young season and don't let the Knights' record fool you. North Hall is the fourth 2022 playoff team so far and the second that made it to the Elite 8 or further last year. Pace has scored just 8 total runs but three of its losses have been by 3 runs or fewer.
Commerce (1-2) finishes up its South Georgia trek at Screven County on Tuesday. The Tigers, a Class A Public semifinalist last season, have played a tough slate so far, dropping games to 2022 Class 4A semifinalists Benedictine and Class 3A quarterfinalists Harlem during their week-long road trip.
