Two people were hospitalized Saturday after being involved in a two-vehicle accident in Habersham County.
The Georgia State Patrol said Saturday evening that the accident happened at the intersection of GA 365 and Demorest-Mt. Airy Highway.
Toccoa resident Terry Davis, 69, was driving north on 365 when Davis failed to obey a traffic control device. Davis' vehicle then struck an eastbound vehicle that was crossing the roadway on Demorest-Mt. Airy Highway.
Both Davis and the driver of the eastbound vehicle, identifed by the State Patrol as 65-year-old Demorest resident William Harold, were injured in the collision.
The pair were transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for treatment of their injuries, which troopers did not believe to be life-threatening.
No charges have been filed at last report.
