GAINESVILLE, Ga. — The Lakeview boys rallied to a 50-44 win over Loganville Christian on Wednesday in the District 4-3A tournament at home.
The win propelled the Lions into the championship game on Friday.
They'll play the winner of the George Walton/Bethlehem Christian game at home. Tip is set for 8:30 p.m.
After falling behind 15-6 after the first quarter, the Lions outscored Loganville Christian 19-9 in the second to take control 35-29 at halftime.
They held on to the lead at the end of the third, 50-44.
Jack Collins led the Lions with 20 points, Tayden Ware had 17, Justyce Sadler netted 12, and JR Thompson hit 10.

Taliah Gaither scored 14 points, pulled 10 rebounds and blocked four shots to help Lakeview past Bethlehem Christain on Wednesday at home.
The Lady Lions led 25-15 at the half.
With the win, Lakeview will play George Walton at home for the GIAA District 4-3A championship. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
Dynesty Putman also turned in a stellar performance with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 steals. Kivana Bogne had 10 points and 9 rebounds, while Sidney Corbin added 7 points and 5 assists.
