GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Lakeview Academy looked sharp in its final tune-up before Lanierland with an impressive 74-39 win over Southwest Atlanta Christian on Thursday at home.
The Lions (9-2) opened the game with a 26-11 run and never looked back. They outscored SWAC 21-7 in the second quarter to take a 47-18 lead into the half and eventually took a 64-32 lead into the fourth quarter.
Justyce Sadler paced Lakeview with 19 points. Mekhi Barber added 12 points and Eli Mayfield 9 points for the Lions.
Lakeview will be off until taking on Cherokee Bluff in the first round of the Lanierland tournament on Wednesday at West Hall.

After a low scoring first half, the Bears (6-4) outscored Fannin County 33-17 in the second half to roll to their fourth straight win on Thursday in Blue Ridge.
Boston Kersh turned in a double-double performance, scoring 12 points and pulling 15 rebounds. He also dished out four assists.
Logan Holmes finished with 10 points, Tyler Underwood had a good night as well, scoring eight points, four rebounds, three steals and four assists.
The Bears will play on Friday against Pickens at Fannin County High. It's the final tune-up before Lanierland.
