The Georgia Department of Transportation announced Monday that crews will work on I-85 in Banks and Jackson counties starting Tuesday night for maintenance.
Work will begin at 8:30 p.m. and conclude at 4 a.m. traffic pacing will start at exit 140 to exit 149 (SR 15/ US 441).
Crews will begin guardrail repair Wednesday from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. northbound only at exits 138 to 139.
GDOT officials said delays are anticipated and that alternate routes should be considered.
