Two people were injured Friday morning in a Duluth house fire.
Gwinnett County Fire Officials said the incident occurred around 2:27 a.m. at the 3900 block of Loring Lane NW in Duluth. Fire crews deployed two hose lines to douse the fire.
Residents inside the home were sleeping and were awakened by the smell of smoke.
All of the residents escaped the home with their two pets officials said.
EMS crews transported two residents to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
