Salvation Army opens warming station in Gainesville

The Salvation Army of Gainesville opened a warming shelter this week as temperatures drop. 

The warming center is in the Salvation Army building located at 681 Dorsey Street Gainesville, GA. Dinner as well as a safe and warm place to sleep will be provided.

Check-in will be at 4:30 p.m. as accommodations are first come, first serve. Those who use the warming shelter will need to sign in daily. 

Those who plan to stay at the shelter are advised to arrive early.
