Hall County's Vision 2030 Public Art project is set to receive a 2024 Georgia Council for the Arts grant.
Vision 2030 Public Art was one of 60 applicants statewide seeking a grant from the Georgia Council for the Arts.
Vision 2030 Public Art Chairperson Whitney Brown says they have been awarded a Fiscal Year 2024 Vibrant Communities grant of $5,000.
Project organizers will use the grant to install Free Range Art in Gainesville by Hunt Tower for one year with the purpose of transforming the area's streets into an open-air art gallery of moveable murals.
Funding for these grants is provided through appropriations from the Georgia General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts.
