The Hall County Sheriff's Office Warrant Unit arrested a Gainesville man on Thursday after he allegedly committed two sexual crimes against a woman.
Daniel De Jesus Mojica, 20, of Gainesville was arrested on two counts of felony statutory rape.
He is accused of engaging in sexual intercourse with a female victim on two different days in May 2022.
Mojica was 19-years-old at the time the offenses occurred.
A preliminary investigation says that Mojica communicated with the victim via Snapchat and convinced her to sneak out of her house to meet him at his home where the crimes occurred..
A family member of the victim disclosed the crimes to law enforcement.
Mojica remains in the Hall County Jail with no bond as of last report.
