WINDER, Ga. — It took Habersham Central two quarters to get warmed up. Once they did, it was over.
The Raiders scored 28 points in the third quarter to blow past Apalachee, 42-15, on the road on Friday.
Hab Central led 14-0 at the half but turned on the jects in the second half, scoring 35 points.
Antonio Cantrell rushed for two touchdowns and finished with 46 yards on 12 carries. DJ Pass was 7-of-11 for 146 yards and three touchdowns. Zeke Whittington hauled in three of Pass's three touchdowns -- a 63-yard, 33-yard and 17-yard pass. Whittington finished with six catches for 158 yards.
If Habersham Central knocks off Shiloh next week on the road, and Jackson County falls to Gainesville, the Raiders will secure the No. 4 seed in the Class 6A playoffs.
