A woman from Cumming was arrested last week on drug trafficking charges after authorities reportedly intercepted a package containing cocaine.
A social media post by the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Saturday said drug investigators received a tip that a woman in the northern end of the county was receiving large amounts of cocaine through the mail and distributing it throughout the county.
Investigators were reportedly able to intercept a package and discover 60 grams of cocaine contained inside a bag of coffee. An undercover investigator then delivered the package to the residence Thursday and obtained a search warrant, leading to more cocaine reportedly being found inside.
Alexandra Claerbout, age 35, was arrested and booked into the Forsyth County Jail. She remained there without bond as of Sunday morning on a charge of Trafficking in Cocaine.
