GAINESVILLE, Ga. – Gainesville took a big step toward their defense of the region 8-6A title with a 55-0 win over Shiloh Friday night.
Baxter Wright finished with 183 yards of passing and three touchdowns, finding senior Sky Niblett and Eric Hart for two of them. Gavin Hall finished the night with 102 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns, including scoring on the first offensive play of the night for the Red Elephants.
Zion Ferguson also found the endzone on the defensive side of the football with a pick-six.
Gainesville will now travel to North Forsyth next week.
