No injuries were reported after a house fire on Saturday night in Hall County.
Hall County Fire Rescue responded at approximately 8:50 p.m. to the fire in the 3100 block of Poplar Springs Drive.
Arriving units found a two-story residence with heavy fire in and above the garage, which was beginning to extend to the rest of the home.
Crews were able to utilize a deck gun to knock down the bulk of the fire on the outside and used multiple hoses to put out the remaining hot spots inside of the structure.
One resident was displaced due to the fire.
The flames did not extend to any nearby homes.
The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
