A Flowery Branch man faces criminal charges associated with allegations of ongoing sexual assault of a juvenile girl.
Hall County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman B.J. Williams reports that 25-year old Thanh Dat Nguyen was arrested Thursday, October 12, 2023, on felony charges of aggravated sexual battery and child molestation.
The investigation determined the criminal assaults occurred multiple times between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2021.
Hall County Sheriff’s investigators became aware of the crimes earlier this year when the victim disclosed the assaults to someone at her school.
Nguyen and the victim were known to one another, and he remains in the Hall County Jail without bond.
