PHILADELPHIA — Atlanta Braves fans will have to wait two extra hours on Thursday to see if the Braves can stage another rally in the National League Division Series against the Philadelphia Phillies.
First pitch of Game 4 will now be at 8:07 p.m.
Game 4 of the NLDS was originally scheduled for a 6:07 p.m. first pitch, but after the Arizona Diamondbacks finished off the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday night to sweep that series, the Braves-Phillies game was moved to a prime-time slot on TBS.
Spencer Strider, the losing pitcher in Game 1 of the NLDS, will start for the Braves against Ranger Suarez of the Phillies. The Braves trail the Phillies 2-1 in the best-of-five series and will need a win to force a deciding Game 5.
If the Braves win on Thursday, Game 5 is scheduled for an 8:07 p.m. first pitch on Saturday at Truist Park.
