White County Public Safety has released more details behind a Sunday night residential house fire and explosion.
The White County Public Safety Facebook post shows the explosion and residential fire occurred in the area of Gunn Circle at around 8:30 PM.
Arriving on site, White Fire and Rescue crews found three individuals outside after escaping the home without serious injuries, and later transported the three for evaluation at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Fire personnel were able to quickly contain the fire preventing it from spreading to nearby structures and stayed overnight to extinguish hot spot. The cause of the explosion and fire is under investigation with the State Fire Marshal’s Office.

White County safety officials are informing residents along State Route 115 near the newly constructed Dollar General store to report any details they may have experienced from an explosion reported Sunday evening.
White County Public Safety department says it occured along SR-115 East Sunday evening, and may have affected property within a two mile area.
