A multi-vehicle crash with at least one injury is behind the Friday afternoon commuter delays along Dawsonville Highway near the Hall and Forsyth County line.
Georgia State Patrol reports details remain limited from the crash where a Ford F-150 truck driven eastbound on Dawsonville Highway 53 failed to maintain lane, and struck a white Ford Ranger pickup heading westbound by Harbour Point Parkway.
GSP says the Ranger was overturned into a roadside ditch, and the driver of the F-150 was transported from the crash scene to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Names of the drivers and further details behind the crash have not been released. Dawsonville Highway (53) travel lanes were blocked for hours druing the cleanup effort, according to reports.
