Snellville man turns himself into Gwinnett County Police following child rape accusations

A Snellville man who is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl and an adult woman turned himself in to the Gwinnett County Detention Center on Monday, Sept. 26.
 
Authorities at the Gwinnett County Police Department had been looking for Akeem Alleyne, 30, since the first alleged incident happened on Sept. 20.
 
According to police, officers responded to a 911 call shortly after midnight on Sept. 21from the 15-year-old girl’s mother who reported the rape. The underaged victim called one of her friends and hysterically told them that she had been raped a few hours prior.
 
Gwinnett County Police report that Alleyne raped and sexually assaulted the girl at his home.
 
When Alleyne turned himself in, authorities added a second rape charge in connection with a second victim. The second victim was an adult woman who reportedly was Alleyne’s acquaintance.
 
Alleyne is charged with kidnapping, rape on two counts, aggravated child molestation, and aggravated child molestation by sodomy.
