LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Chestatee used a nine-run first inning en route to a 17-1, three inning win over Discovery on Wednesday.
Jaden Lee, Stephanie Arellano, Destiny Wooley, Daya Perez, Makayla Hunt, and Ashlyn Gibbs, all had RBI hits in the inning. Chestatee scored eight in the second.
Hannah Pierce went the distance allowing two hits and one run while striking out six to get the win for Chestatee..
Arellano, Lanie Richmond, Mackenzie Jones, Gibbs, and Pierce each collected one hit for Chestatee. The Lady War Eagles also stole 17 bases during the game as six players stole more than one. Wooley led the way with three.
