A second person has died from this week’s multiple shooting outside a nightclub in Hartwell.
Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Natalie Ammons on Thursday identified those who died as Joseph Johnson, 24, of Bowman, and Roberius Thornton, 39, of Hartwell.
Thornton died at the scene, while Johnson died later at an area hospital.
The shooting happened about 2:15 a.m. Monday in the parking lot of Jack’s, a nightclub on Anderson Highway in Hartwell.
Hartwell police requested the GBI investigate the incident.
