GAINESVILLE — The Gainesville volleyball team split Tuesday's action at home.
The Lady Red Elephants (14-14, 1-1) opened with a 2-0 sweep (25-8, 25-21) of East Forsyth to begin the doubleheader, but unforced errors plagued them in the 2-0 loss to undefeated Winder-Barrow.
After an intense start against the Lady Bulldoggs, unforced errors led to a 20-25 loss for Gainesville. In the second set, down 8-15, Big Red stormed back to take a 23-22 lead, but more unforced errors led to a 23-25 loss.
Gainesville will travel to Habersham Central on Thursday for another doubleheader against the Raiders and Jackson County.
