Five people were arrested Monday during the execution of a search warrant in Baldwin.
The Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, Baldwin Police Department, Cornelia Police Department, and Georgia Department of Community Supervision culminated an investigation that began in July into alleged drug sales being conducted out of a home at 1283 Shore Street, Baldwin.
Arrests made so far during the ongoing investigation include:
- Teresa “TT” Mae Wheeler, 40, of Baldwin –possession with intent to distribute ecstasy, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute Xanax, four counts of possession of a firearm by convicted felon, and four counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony -- bond denied;
- Casey “Bubba” Michael Tyler, 37, of Baldwin –possession with intent to distribute ecstasy, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute Xanax, four counts of possession of a firearm by convicted felon, and four counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony -- bond set at $67,200;
- Steven Wayne Boyd, 37, of Baldwin – four counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon -- bond set at $22,400;
- Christopher Austin Maney, 26, of Martin –possession of methamphetamine -- bond set at $2,720; and
- Cheyenne Star Wheeler, 26, of Baldwin – possession of methamphetamine -- released on $2,300 bond..
