Habersham Animal Care and Control is offering free animal vaccinations during business hours.
The agency will be offering DAPPv Canine and HCP Feline vaccines in partnership with the Petco Love initiative. In a release, the agency says it's hoping to vaccinate 1,000 pets during the effort.
"We urge community members to take advantage of this free resource to ensure the health and wellness of our community's pets," Habersham Animal Care and Control Director Madi Nix said. "Not only are you helping to protect your pets, but helping to keep the incoming shelter population safe."
There is no residency requirement for the free vaccinations, meaning even those who live outside of the agency's service area can participate. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 706-839-0195 or emailing Nix at [email protected].
