Hall County Fire Rescue put out a residential fire Friday afternoon in Gainesville.
Firefighters arrived at a home on the 3200 block of Wood Creek Place around 3:50 p.m.. The residents safely made it out of the house before HCFR arrived.
Flames and smoke were visible when firefighters began extinguishing the fire. According to a press release, emergency personnel were able to quickly contain, control and put out the fire.
The American Red Cross will assist the displaced residents.
The Hall County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
