LOS ANGELES — Atlanta United travels to Los Angeles to face LA Galaxy at Dignity Health Sports Park on Sunday.

Kick-off is set for at 9:30 p.m.

Atlanta holds an all-time record of 3-0-0 against the Galaxy and has not allowed a single goal in any of the three meetings, outscoring LA a combined 9-0. In the only meeting in Los Angeles to date, Atlanta defeated LA 2-0 in 2018.

Atlanta drew Orlando City SC 1-1 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on July 17 to close its three-match home stand. Juanjo Purata scored his first MLS goal in just his second start, while Thiago Almada provided his team-leading sixth assist of the season.

Almada and Brooks Lennon are now tied for most chances created on the team at 42, which makes them the only teammates to rank in the top-10 in chances created in MLS. Both players also rank in the top-5 in chances created per 90 minutes.

The Galaxy is coming off a 2-0 loss at Colorado Rapids on July 16. LA has dropped its last three matches but sits in playoff position in seventh place in the Western Conference on 27 points entering the weekend. Dejan Joveljic leads the team with eight goals, followed by Chicharito with seven.
