SAVANNAH —Tough conditions over the final two days made scoring tough at 101st Georgia Amateur Championship at The Landings Club.
In the end, Atlanta's William Love fired a four-day total 8-under 280 to hold off Billy Abdow of Duluth, who finished with a 6-under 282 for second place.
Helen's Thacher Neal was the highest Northeast Georgia area participant, finishing in a tie for seventh at 2-under 286.
Rising Gainesville High sophomore Henry Kopydlowski was in the top 10 after the opening round with a 71 on Thursday and made the cut. But the tough conditions hampered his final two days as he eventually finished in a tie for 56th at 15-over par (303).
