After several near misses earlier this year, on Sunday everything finally fell into place for Daniel Suarez at Sonoma Raceway.
Our Hard Left Turn crew takes a look at all the action and news coming out of Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race in California's wine country, including:
-Daniel Suarez took the lead at the start of the final segment of Sunday's race on the 1.99-mile road course, and never looked back en route to the victory.
-Chris Buescher rebounded from a rough couple of weeks to score a very strong runnner-up finish.
-While Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott looked strong early, the Hendrick Motorsports teammates were snakebit in the final segment of the race.
-It proved to be a strong race for several drivers needing good runs approaching the halfway point of the season.
-The NASCAR Cup Series now looks forward to the only weekend off of the season on Father's Day.
