Buford man shot during robbery, police searching for suspects

A Buford man suffered non-life-threatening injuries Friday evening after he was shot during what authorities believe was an attempted robbery.

The Gwinnett County Police Department said in a press release officers responded at about 8:45 p.m. to a person shot call at 6010 Woodlake Drive in Buford. The 911 caller reported hearing gunshots and told authorities a man was lying in their driveway.

Officers found Nabil Zeidan, 64, lying in the driveway with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital.

Police believe robbery was the motive in the shooting.

The suspects were described as two men in dark clothing. One of the men may be black with "short twisty type hair." The men were last seen getting into a white car.
