Girls soccer: West Hall hires Emsley to lead program

By AccessWDUN Staff

OAKWOOD, Ga. — Brian Emsley has been hired to be the next head coach of the West Hall girls soccer program.

Athletic director David Wagner announced the new hire via press release Thursday morning.

“We are excited to have Coach Emsley join Sparta!” said Wagner. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our girls’ soccer program.”

Emsley replaces Shannon Reed, who resigned after the season. The Lady Spartans were 1-13 and winless in region play this season.

Emsley comes to West Hall from Berkmar High School where he guided the Lady Patriots the last four seasons.

Prior to Berkmar, he coached at South Gwinnett and St. Pius X.
