FLOWERY BRANCH — Both the White County boys and Cherokee Bluff girls track teams extended Day 1 leads to capture Region 7-3A championships on Friday at Cherokee Bluff High School.
The Warriors led West Hall by just 12 points after Thursday but pulled away from the Spartans to accumulate 163 points to the Spartans’ 126 for the title. North Hall finished third with 99 points.
In the girls' meet, the Lady Bears led White County by 8 points after Thursday but also pulled away on Day 2 to finish with 188 points to the Lady Warriors’ 125. North Hall took third with 109 points.
