Bradford Street between Brenau Avenue and West Academy street in Gainesville will be closed temporarily for road construction.
A press release from the city said the closure was part of the City of Gainesville's downtown streetscape improvement project. The closure will run from Monday through Friday, April 8.
Additionally, Bradford Street from Washington to Academy streets will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, April 4, as construction crews prepare the roadway for paving.
Those driving in the area are asked to drive carefully and watch for construction workers and construction equipment.
