JEKYLL ISLAND — A pair of Hall County junior players came away with hardware over the weekend at US Kids Jekyll Island Cup.
Addison Peeples won the 11-year-old girls division while Hudson Justus brought home second in the 10-year-old boys division in the two-day event held at the 4,877-yard long Pine Lakes Course.
Justus shot a two-day total of 6-under (138) after rounds of 68 and 70 on the Par 72 course. However, he lost in a two-hole playoff for the championship.
Back in February, Justus finished in the top 10 in the 9-11 age division at the Under Armour Winter National Championship held in Tampa, Fla., at the Saddlebrook Resort.
Justus finished with a two-day total 145 on the 4,515-yard, Par 71 course.
