FLOWERY BRANCH — According to multiple sources, the Atlanta Falcons have traded longtime starting quarterback Matt Ryan to the Indianapolis Colts.
ESPN and NFL.com both have confirmed the deal, though the Falcons have not issued a press release as of 2:15 p.m.
The sources say Atlanta will get a 2022 third-round pick. Ryan, 36, had two years left on his current contract and was due a $7.5 million roster bonus at 4 p.m. ET on Monday.
