Brandon Overton scores USLMS win at Smoky Mountain

Brandon Overton added to his already crowded trophy case on Saturday night with a win in the Ultimate Super Late Model Series season opener at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee.

The Evans, Georgia racer took the lead on lap 12, and led the remaining 48 laps en route to his 11th career series win and a $12,000 payday.

Mike Marlar followed in second, with Tim McCreadie in third, Blairsville, Georgia’s Jonathan Davenport in fourth, and Kyle Strickler in fifth.

Chickamauga, Georgia’s Dale McDowell, Hudson O’Neal, Chris Ferguson, Cameron Marlar, and Wil Herrington rounded out the top 10.

The next event currently scheduled for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series is set for March 19 at Boyd’s Speedway located in Ringgold, Georgia. For more information, visit UltimateSupers.com.
