Gwinnett County authorities are working to identify a suspect following a fatal hit-and-run that happened in Duluth on Tuesday.
The Gwinnett County Police Department said in a press release Nguyen Phooc Nguyen, 77, of Duluth, was hit by a white SUV at 7:40 p.m. on Ingram Road and Clara Mae Walk. The white SUV left the scene and Nguyen died from injuries sustained in the collision.
Nguyen was reportedly checking the mail at his home when he was struck by the vehicle.
