The Gwinnett County Police Department has arrested a second suspect in the February shooting death of a man in Lawrenceville.
According to a press release from the agency, Brendon Woods, 21, of Lawrenceville, was arrested in Gastonia, NC, for the murder of Dakota Mcgee, 21, of Lawrenceville, with the help of U.S. Marshalls.
Woods was pending extradition from North Carolina to Gwinnett County at the time of this article's publishing. He was charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Police have also asked the public for information regarding a red or burgundy Ford Taurus with a Georgia license plate labeled RYK0183. The release said the vehicle was seen driving in the direction of Brooke Manor Court in Lawrenceville shortly after the shooting.

The Gwinnett County Police Department released Tuesday afternoon the name of a suspect in a fatal shooting Sunday in Lawrenceville.
Brendyn Walker, 24, of Lawrenceville, was arrested and charged in the death of Dakota Mcgee, 21, of Lawrenceville.
A press release from the police department said Walker was charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felon.

One man was killed in Lawrenceville Sunday in a double shooting that authorities believe may have been drug-related.
On Sunday, the Gwinnett County Police Department responded to a call just after 3 p.m. that someone had been shot near the intersection to Macland Dr. and McCart Rd. According to Sgt. Collin Flynn with the Gwinnett County Police Department, “When officers arrived, they initially located one man in his 20’s suffering from a gunshot wound. A second male in his 20’s was located a short distance away in a vehicle.” Investigators believe the two men met at the location just before the shooting.
Both men were taken to a local hospital where one of them died from his injuries. The victim’s name is not being released until family members have been notified of his death.
