Girls basketball: LCA knocked out in 1st round of GAPPS tourney

WOODSTOCK — The Lanier Christian Academy girls were knocked out of the GAPPS 3A state playoffs Tuesday night with a tough 44-41 loss to The King's Academy in the first round on the road.
The Lady Lightnings’ Ashley Avery led all scorers with 15 points and 18 rebounds. Camille Hoffman added 11 points and Ellie Roberts added 7 for LCA.
