The City of Clayton has issued a Boil Water Advisory for Mountain City, Pinnacle and the Warwoman areas of Rabun County that have experienced water outages.
Crews are working to identify leaks due to the extreme cold.
Anyone who sees water running or has a leak is asked to call (706) 782-4512.
Water customers are asked to conserve water when possible to ensure everyone has an adequate supply.
Water should be brought to a rolling boil then allowed to cool before drinking, tooth brushing or food preparation.
