DAHLONEGA, Ga. — Logan Holmes, Carlos Marlow and Boston Kersh combined 63 points to lead Cherokee Bluff past Harrison, 75-66, in the first round of the Kelly King Holiday Classic on Tuesday.
Holmes led all scorers with 27 points, while Marlow had 19, and Kersh added 17 points and 7 rebounds to lead the Bears to their fifth straight win.
Bluff (7-2, 2-1) will play Roswell in the second round of the tournament on Wednesday. Tip-off is 5:30 p.m.

The Indians (2-9) had 12 players score in the blowout win over Cross Keys in the first round of the Kelly King Holiday Classic in Dahlonega on Tuesday.
Cal Faulkner scored 12 points, pulled 4 rebounds and dished out 4 assists to lead the Indians in the victory. Hunter Cooper added 11 points and 7 boards, and Clayton Woodham and Jack Carroll chipped in 9 points each.
