3:40 p.m. update
A search for suspects continues after a man was shot and killed Tuesday morning in Hall County.
A caller reported a shooting on Brown Street off Old Athens Road to Hall County 911 around 10:25 a.m. The victim, Christopher Dixon, 25, of Gainesville was found shot once in the chest. He was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office said the SWAT team had been called in after information that two men involved in the shooting had barricaded themselves in an apartment on Brown Street off Old Athens Road. After the building had been secured, the SWAT team found no sign of the suspects.
The Hall County Sheriff's office believes this is an isolated incident. The investigation is still ongoing

The Hall County Sheriff's Office said in a 1:35 p.m. update that the SWAT team had been called in following a fatal shooting on Brown Street off Old Athens Road.
According to a social media post from the agency, authorities believed two suspects were barricaded in an apartment at the Harrison Square complex.
An update on the situation is expected to be released in the coming hours.

One person was killed Tuesday following a shooting in Hall County.
Details were extremely limited as of 12:30 p.m., but the Hall County Sheriff's Office said they were actively investigating the incident off Old Athens Road.
