DAWSONVILLE — Olvia  Mullins threw a six-hit shutout to lead North Hall past Dawson County 8-0 in Region 7-3A action on Thursday.

Mullins went the distance, fanning 12 and walking just one outlasting Dawson County’s Layne Bailey as the two were locked in a scoreless pitcher’s duel through the first three innings.

But the Lady Trojans eventually got to Bailey with two runs each in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings. Bailey lasted 5 1/3 innings allowing 10 hits and six runs while walking zero. Reese Moore threw 1 2/3 innings in relief out of the bullpen for the Lady Tigers.

North Hall racked up 13 hits on the day. Mullins and Kb  Seabolt each had three hits. Jacey  Smith and Kinsley Kirby had two hits apiece and Kirby had a pair of RBI as well. Bre Stowers had a hit and three RBI for the Lady Trojans.

Ainsley Allen went 3-for-3 for Dawson County.
