Fire investigators say South Hall house fire started in kitchen

Three people - two adults and a child - were displaced by a fire that broke out at their home in South Hall County on Sunday afternoon.

Division Chief Christie Grice with Hall County Fire Services issued an update on the fire Monday, saying the origin of the fire was in the kitchen of the house on Magnetic Point. 

According to the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office, the fire originated in the kitchen displacing two adults and one child from their home.

Grice said the Hall County Fire Marshal continues to investigate a specific cause for the fire.

This afternoon, Crews with Hall County Fire Services responded to a residential house fire on the 6300 block of Magnetic Point in south Hall County. 

Upon arrival, units found a two-story home with heavy fire showing from the roof of the structure. 

The fire was extinguished quickly and crews are still operating the scene. 

No injuries have been reported. 

The cause of the fire is unknown and it will be under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal's Office.
