Resurfacing began Friday and will continue for the next three months on a five-mile stretch of SR 20/Buford Drive in Gwinnett County.

The Georgia Department of Transportation said single-lane closures will be used to conduct resurfacing and patching along Buford Drive from Laurel Drive extending to SR 316/University Parkway.

The work began on Saturday, Sept. 10. Lane closures will take place overnight from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

construction partners will utilize single lane closures in order to perform resurfacing and patching along approximately 5 miles of the corridor. Locations will change within project limits nightly.
