UNG men stay unbeaten with 2nd half rally

By University of North Georgia Sports Information

CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Donovan Odier scored a pair and Gustavo Alencar had a goal and two assists as the University of North Georgia men's soccer team scored three times in the second half to defeat Lee Tuesday night, 4-2.

Odier struck first in the 18th minute after Alencar and Kevin Lopez combined to find Odier in the box for an early Nighthawk lead, but Lee answered 11 minutes later to send the match to 1-1. After coming out of the halftime break, Odier again worked with Alencar to score UNG's second goal of the match in the 52nd minute.

The Flames responded in the 65th minute to level the match up again, but North Georgia answered with Alencar netting his first goal of the season from Victor Galterio to take the lead for good. UNG sealed the match off a set piece in the 86th minute off a free kick that found Dawid Zajac on the back post. He centered for Galterio who tapped home the match's final goal.

NOTES
- UNG was outshot in the match, 18-8, but converted on four of their five shots on goal.

- Odier becomes the 36th player to record a brace in North Georgia history. This is his first two goal outing in a Nighthawk uniform.

- Garrett Liles made five saves on the night, including multiple at point blank range.
