Odier struck first in the 18th minute after Alencar and Kevin Lopez combined to find Odier in the box for an early Nighthawk lead, but Lee answered 11 minutes later to send the match to 1-1. After coming out of the halftime break, Odier again worked with Alencar to score UNG's second goal of the match in the 52nd minute.

The Flames responded in the 65th minute to level the match up again, but North Georgia answered with Alencar netting his first goal of the season from Victor Galterio to take the lead for good. UNG sealed the match off a set piece in the 86th minute off a free kick that found Dawid Zajac on the back post. He centered for Galterio who tapped home the match's final goal.
