In the midst of a tight championship battle, Susan Spikes scored the Super Pro victory on Saturday in Summit ET Drag Racing Series action at the Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia.
Spikes, a Commerce native, edged out Travis Bryant for the win in the division final.
Spikes dialed her 2001 Undercover Dragster in on a 5.02 and ran a 5.036 ET at 132.62 MPH and a 0.006 reaction time.
Bryant dialed in his 2008 Mullis on a 4.94 and ran a 4.957 ET at 138.64 MPH and a 0.029 reaction.
Other winners on the day included Kelly King in Pro, Tim Keeton in Sportsman, Stephen Skelton in JR Street, Jason Hofer in Box Motorcycle, Randy Barnett in No Box Motorcycle, Aaron Kennedy in 5-9 JR Dragster, Joshua McDaniel in 10-12 JR Dragster, and Kimberly Vancica in 13-17 JR Dragster.
