ATLANTA — Atlanta United returns to action Saturday when it hosts Nashville SC at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The match is set to kick-off at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be nationally broadcast on Univision.

Atlanta owns an all-time record of 2-1-2 against Nashville SC: 1-0-1 at home and 1-1-1 on the road in the series. This will be the third and final meeting between the teams during the regular season. Both matches this season have ended in 2-2 draws, in Atlanta on May 29 and at Nashville on July 8.

Atlanta is unbeaten in five matches and the four consecutive wins match the longest win streak in club history. Gonzalo Pineda will make his head coaching debut against Nashville.

Four Atlanta players received call ups from their national teams this week for the September FIFA window to participate in World Cup Qualifying. George Bello and Miles Robinson will report to USMNT camp while Ronald Hernández and Josef Martínez will represent Venezuela, as each country faces three qualifiers during the FIFA window.

Marcelino Moreno scored the game-winning goal in Atlanta’s 2-1 victory at D.C. United on Aug. 21 for his team-leading seventh goal of the season. Martínez scored the opener, assisted by Moreno, to bring his tally to six goals on the season. Martínez has scored in four of his last five matches.

Nashville is coming off a 1-1 draw against Orlando City SC at home on Aug. 18. The club has an away record of 0-2-5 in 2021 with four goals scored and seven conceded.
