By AccessWDUN Staff

East Forsyth began its inaugural football journey on Friday at Bronco Stadium.

As expected for a new football program with young talent, the Broncos made some mistakes but still had some worthy stats after the 19-0 loss to Ridgeland.

Sophomore quarterback led the Broncos with 117 passing yards and 73 rushing yards, while David Navarette hualed in six catches for 42 yards. Brandon Peoples ended the night with two catches for 63 yards.

And the Broncos' defense held Ridgeland scoreless -- after falling behind by two scores in the first quarter -- in the third quarter and most of the fourth. Ridgeland scored its last touchdown late in the fourth.
