Mark Ruel, Jr. swept the USCS Sprint Car Series weekend by scoring in the Senoia Summer Nationals at Georgia’s Senoia Raceway.
It marked the first two series wins for the Jacksonville, Florida racer, as he drove to the win on Friday night, and backed it up with another victory on Saturday night on the 3/8-mile clay oval.
On Friday night, Ruel, Jr. outdistanced Kyle Amerson for the win. Brandon Taylor followed in third, with Danny Smith in fourth and Nick Snyder in fifth.
Ruel, Jr. backed up Friday’s win with another victory on Saturday night to sweep the Senoia weekend.
Danny Smith chased Ruel for the closing laps, but had to settle for second Snyder followed in third, with Terry Witherspoon in fourth and Kyle Amerson in fifth.
