The Gwinnett County Police Department is hosting a two-day hiring event for police and communications officers.
The event will be held at the police training center at 854 Winder Hwy in Lawrenceville from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m on Saturday, July 10 and Sunday, July 11.
For police, the hiring event will include an orientation, a physical ability test and an interview. For communications officers, the event will include an orientation, a typing test and an interview.
Gwinnett County Police say the new roles will come with several benefits, including a $2,000 hiring bonus and immediate job offers for qualifying individuals.
