Two people trapped after accident on Browns Bridge Road

A serious accident on GA 369, also known as Browns Bridge Road, left two people trapped in their vehicle.

Earlier this evening, just after 7 p.m., a Dodge Ram traveling eastbound crossed the center line and hit a Jeep Renegade traveling in the opposite direction. According to a statement released from the Georgia State Patrol, both vehicles ran off the road. The Dodge Ram struck a ditch. The Jeep also went into a ditch and overturned, causing both the driver and passenger to become trapped. Allison Miklos, age 23, and Kristen Miklos, age 56, both from Gainesville, were soon rescued and both were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for injuries.

The Dodge Ram was being driven by Brian Presley, age 35, of Lula. Both he and his passenger complained of injuries but were not transported by ambulance to the hospital.

The road was closed in both directions for quite some time, causing serious traffic delays for over an hour.

The investigation is ongoing. It is yet to be determined if any charges will be filed.
